  • Basic claims for medical insurance and third-party reimbursements
  • Learn how to solve insurance problems
  • How to manually file claims using CPT and ICD-10 Manuals
  • Learn how to trace delinquent claims
  • How to appeal denied claims

​Pharmacy Tech 6weeks meets one day/wk

  • Pharmacy Calculations
  • Medical terminology pertaining to pharmacy
  • Top 200 medications
  • Identification of medication brand name and generic name
  • Dosage calculations, I.V. flow rates, drug compounding, and drug conversions
  • Dispensing of prescriptions, inventory control, and billing and reimbursement

Phlebotomy Tech 6weeks meets one day/wk

  • Provide students with classroom experience with laboratory and clinical areas that are the basics for skills and competency of a phlebotomy technician
  • Skills and competencies that lead to entry into workforce as a phlebotomy technician
  • knowledge and safety of patient, self, employees, and employers in lab
  • Learn skills to perform blood collection and labs
